International Swiss School Launches New Language Courses to Support Global Competence.

We are happy to officially announce the launch of our new intensive language programs. These courses, now available in English, German, and French, are designed to strengthen international students’ academic success, support their integration into the multilingual Swiss environment, and prepare them for global careers. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering multilingual proficiency as a key competence for all students and staff, enhancing their ability to participate confidently in academic, professional, and social settings.

Developed by the university’s Language Center, in partnership with the Office of Academic Affairs, the courses combine immersive learning with a strong focus on practical communication skills. The intensive format ensures participants make significant progress in a short timeframe, focusing on both language structure and real-life application. The Intensive courses address academic writing, research, and presentations, daily communication, integration into Swiss society, and professional vocabulary. The Intensive Courses offer a dynamic mix of grammar, conversation, and cultural workshops, supporting both beginners and those seeking to polish their language abilities.

The new language programs are an essential part of the university’s strategy to create inclusive learning environments that support both local and international students.
